Bertrand has extensive experience in risk management, finance, and business transformation. He began his career in car financing with Sovac and Credipar, later holding leadership roles in risk management. He played a key role in integrating Crédit de l’Est and Sovac into Gefiservices under GE Capital.
As COO in 2000, he led a consumer and car finance start-up in France for AKB Bank. Joining Siemens Financial Services in 2001, he restructured operations in France, established regulated credit platforms, and expanded OEM programs. Promoted to CRO for Southern Europe, he added asset management and collections to his portfolio.
From 2012 to 2017, Bertrand served as CRO and Board Member in China, driving strategy redesign and operational improvements, including an interim CEO role in 2014.
Recently, he has worked as a transition CEO and consultant, supporting start-ups, securitisation, and M&A projects.
